The Ebenezer Zane Chapter,
Ohio Society, Sons of the American Revolution has
sponsored a Revolutionary War Monument placed at the Veterans Memorial
Park in Weirton, West Virginia.

Spearheading the project was George Livingston, the current President
of the SAR chapter; along with help of Henry DeMasis, President
of the Brooke/Hancock Veterans Park Association.

The memorial park is located at the intersections of US Route 22 and WV Route 2
with it's entrance in downtown Weirton.

The monument is made of black granite, 30 inches wide, 44 inches high and 8 inches
in thickness, placed on a granite base, 36 x 14 x 8. This raises to the total height
to 52 inches.

A ceremony took place on Saturday, May 21, 2005 held honoring the Revolutionary Veterans of
the Upper Ohio Valley.
